The Alberta Initiative is not a waiting list. It is an open invitation. We are actively recruiting faith communities across all five regions of the province, because every region has people coming home from incarceration with nowhere to go.

Michelle came out of incarceration having experienced a genuine faith change inside. She did not need a referral to a program. She needed a family.
Today she holds a steady job and is actively rebuilding her relationship with her daughter. The Alberta Initiative exists to multiply that outcome, one person, one church, one trained team at a time.
